In Haiti, COPI currently operates three orphan homes which provide 24-hour care of 64 children, a Family assistance Program (Love In Action) which provides supplemental services for 54 destitute children, and an elementary and high school “free school program” in which we have 500 students attending daily. The free school also provides a nutritional feeding program three times a week. In addition, COPI supports five churches and operates a culinary arts/sewing school for women and a literacy program in Haiti.
We have housing available for teams in Leogane at our compound which contains our larger free school, the girl’s home, offices, housing for staff, and a church. The boy’s home is one block away.
We are in need of construction/evangelism teams that can work for one to two weeks. We recommend teams travel to Haiti during the fall, winter or spring because of the extreme temperatures in the summer.
The costs for a team to travel to Haiti would be as follows:
Cost for food lodging and transportation: $140 per week per person
Cost for bottled water $300 per week per team

There over 100 children receiving 24-hour care in the 10 children’s homes located in Venezuela. COPI partners with ABANSA “MY Refugio” in providing these orphaned, abandoned, abused and destitute children with food, shelter, clothing, and all the necessities of life in a family home setting.
This program has a farm in Urena where they have started a free school for 45 elementary children who are without papers or too poor to buy supplies and uniforms required for public school.
We need teams to help with construction, clearing land, planting, and renovating and painting buildings on the farm in Valencia and at a new site being prepared for children. Housing would be provided on site. A team could work for one to four weeks in Venezuela with the following costs:

Children of Promise International joined with Pentecostal Union of Moldva and Horizons Foundations of Louis, Missouri to purchase a 10 cabin unit in Chisinau, Moldava in 2000. When renovations of each of the 10 homes are completed, these children’s homes will eventually house 150 orphaned , abandoned, and destitute children. Four homes have been completed. Currently 46 children receiving 24-hour care.
The program in Moldova has churches, outreaches to street children and the poor, a school and a Bible School.
We need construction teams to help finish the homes, and evangelism teams for outreach. Teams can work in Moldova for ten days to four weeks at the following cost:

Los Brazile, Nicaragua is the location of Hogar de Fe (Home of Faith), a children’s home facility which provides 24-hour care for 63 orphaned and destitute children. On the grounds with the home there is a school and technical program.
We need construction/evangelism teams. Teams can work in Nicaragua for ten days to four weeks.
